The Original Ooze Slim Twist Pen
We absolutely love the original Slim Twist Pen. This device is a reliable 510 thread vaporizer that has helped us and all of our partner businesses own the shelf in the vape category. The original version is not going anywhere, and we will still offer this option in the 6 classic colors that come in the 48ct display.
The 1.0 version (the original) will have a slightly lower price and is still a perfectly good option for any customer looking for a vape pen battery. Ooze built upon the solid foundation that is the 1.0 to create the 2.0, meaning they kept all the original’s features, which include:

Better Battery Life
One of the most important features that sets a good vape battery apart from a great vape battery is the battery life. How long a user can puff on it before it needs a charge is a vital component, and the Twist Slim 2.0 goes the distance.
Both the 1.0 and 2.0 versions have a 320 mAh battery. A 320 mAh battery offers decent battery life on its own, but the 2.0 also features automatic shut-off. This feature turns the battery off after 12 minutes of inactivity have passed. Many customers rarely shut their devices off in between vape sessions, which can drain the battery faster than turning it off after use. The 2.0 does it for them, which greatly extends the battery life.
The Twist Slim Pen will last for days of use, even for the heaviest users. Lower Temperature Range
While both versions are equipped with a flex temp dial on the bottom to control the temperature, the 2.0’s voltage range is lower. Over time, Ooze has learned that frequent high-voltage use can burn cartridge coils out, which causes them to taste gross and burnt. Terpenes in the oil can also be damaged by continued use at high temps, so a lower voltage is better.
The range has shifted from 3.3V-4.8V down to 2.0V-4.0V. This still gives users the option to use their wax attachments; 4.0V is still plenty hot enough to vaporize concentrates. It simply removes the unnecessary heat from the equation and gives delicate cartridge hardware a better chance at surviving.
A New Way to Charge
Each package still includes the Ooze Smart USB Charger that screws onto the top of the device and uses a wall adapter. This is the only type of 510 thread charger that can be used with the device under warranty. As soon as a customer uses a non-Ooze 510 charger, the warranty voids.
This is the best 510 thread vape charger money can buy! It has a built-in chip that turns the flow of power into the device off as soon as it reaches full charge. Non-Ooze chargers don’t have this, so there’s always the risk of overcharging and damaging the battery over time.
Ooze increased the charging options with the Twist Slim Pen 2.0. There is now a type-C charging port (type-C charger sold separately) right by the button. Plug the pen in with one of these chargers, and it can be used while it’s charging! It has pass-through charging that allows the device to function.
What All the Buzz is About
One small detail that really elevates this device is the Pulse Wave Technology. That’s what Ooze calls the vibration that occurs when the device turns on and off and when it makes a connection with a cartridge, charger, or other attachment. It buzzes once to power on and off, and twice when it makes a connection.
The power button on the 2.0 turns the device on and off, activates Prep Mode, and heats the battery to take a hit. However, the 2.0 is also an Auto Draw device now, meaning you can also just inhale to take a puff, using the button is just personal preference now.
It’s the finishing touches like these, plus the extended length and weighty feel that make the Twist Slim Pen feel like a more sophisticated piece. The new temperature dial has notches for each level that lock into place, so there’s no question about how hot the device is.
